Comments・・・・・・・・・・・・・・イッシュ地方(第5世代)における2匹目の幻のポケモン。ユニコーンのような一角獣を持つ仔馬のような愛くるしい姿をしている。公式発表当初から漫画家、手塚治虫のキャラや「青いブリンク」のキャラに似てるとか言われまくってた。だが、公式絵や映画で動く姿が公開されるようになって徐々にそういう声は少なくなってきた。昔、イッシュ地方で起こったと言われる三闘獣(テラキオン・ビリジオン・コバルオン)が人間とポケモンの戦争から救出したポケモンらしく後に三闘獣の愛弟子となり聖剣士を目指した。BW1では彼専用の技を習得するスポットがあり、BW2ではそのスポットに加えてフォルムチェンジできるスポットが追加された。幻のポケモンにしては種族値が大人しめなのは師匠である三闘獣に遠慮してるのか、まだまだ三闘獣に及ばないのか・・・・・・・・・・。三闘獣と同じく格闘タイプを有して水タイプも兼ね備えてる。水・格闘ポケモンはニョロボン以来か。初登場は2012年のアニメ映画『キュレムVS聖剣士ケルディオ』。今現在の入手方法は2012年の映画キャンペーンのみ。

Comments・・・・・・・・・・・・・・イッシュ地方における3匹目の幻のポケモン。初登場は2012年の同時上映の短編映画「メロエッタのキラキラリサイタル」から。音符を彷彿とさせる手と服、髪を身にまとっている亜人系のポケモン。見た目的にキルリアと似ていて可愛い。公式絵やアニメ登場前はゲームのドット絵しか分からなかったので見た目が絵本作家のやなせたかしが描く『それいけ！ アンパンマン』のキャラクターっぽいとケルディオと同じく批判を受けていた。だが、アニメのアレンジや公式絵の努力から次第にそういう声は少なくなっていった。分類は「旋律ポケモン」。だが、ゲーム内のポケモン図鑑ではひらがな表記なので「戦慄」の意味も兼ね備えたダブルミーニングかもしれない若干恐ろしいポケモン。フォルムチェンジする条件や図鑑の設定などからフォルムチェンジの姿に「戦慄」の意味が隠されてそうな気がする。メロエッタの歌う歌には癒し効果があるがポケモンを悲しませたり怒らせる場合もあるらしい。音楽と深い関わりのあるポケモンでノーマル・エスパータイプ。フォルムチェンジするとノーマル・格闘タイプに変わる。メロエッタ以前のノーマル・エスパーポケモンにはキリンリキが居るが戦闘スタイルや種族値が違い過ぎるのでメロエッタはキリンリキとは違った戦闘スタイルが出来る。3匹目の新しい幻のポケモンだが何故かケルディオと同時に解禁された。ついでにアニメや映画の出演も2012年中に果たした。新種の幻のポケモンが1年以内の映画で2種類以上公開・プレゼント・アニメ出演出来るのはポケモン史上初である。短編映画のみの主役の為か映画の宣伝と出番の枠を兼ねて普通のアニメにも準レギュラー枠で出演してるようだ。ちなみにポケモンの同時上映が復活したのはジラーチの映画より9年ぶりとなる。それまでの短編映画はなかった。代わりにポケモンだけが出演する短編ものはOVAや航空会社のスペシャルアニメなどで代用していた。元々、2匹同時に1本の映画を消化するつもりだったのかBW1の売り上げや評判が他作品以上に悪化したので急遽予定変更したのかは定かではない。後者の場合なら大人の事情って奴だろう。いずれにしても新種の幻のポケモンを2匹引っ張り出して1本の映画を宣伝しまくらないと駄目なところまで経営陣が追い込まれてるようにも見える。その理由は後述のゲノセクトで語ろう。2012年の映画のプレゼントは映画館のスクリーン配布で「メロエッタ」、特別前売券の配布で「ケルディオ」に決まった。今現在この2匹だけは映画のプレゼントで貰うしか入手方法がない。

Comments・・・・・・・・・・・・・プラズマ団の科学技術を結集させて生み出したサイボーグポケモン。イッシュ地方における4匹目の幻のポケモンである・・・・・・・どんだけ幻、居るんじゃい！ってブチ切れそうなユーザーは多そうだがシンオウ地方の場合はもっと酷くて新種107匹にも関わらず幻のポケモンがフィオネ含めて5匹だった。更に伝説と既存ポケモンの新進化を加えるとシンオウ地方の新種はかなり少ない・・・・・・・・・・。ポリゴンのような0から生み出した人工ポケモンではないので元ネタとなるポケモンが存在するらしい。プロセスは違うが発想で言えばミュウツーと同類と言える。ミュウツーは遺伝子レベルから改造されたポケモンだがゲノセクトは3億年前に生きていた何らかの虫ポケモンを化石から復元して生前の状態のまま改造を施したのでサイボーグと言える。ミュウツーは遺伝子から弄られてるからミュータントのようなもの。ゲノセクトの元ネタのポケモンの正体が何なのかは明らかにされていない。虫タイプの化石ポケモンと言うとアーマルドが居るが見た目的にはカブトプスに近い。元ネタが既存の化石ポケモンか第6世代以降の新種のポケモンかは不明。もしかしたら新作でゲノセクトのフォルムチェンジが元ネタという可能性もある。ポケモン図鑑に登録されてるぐらいだからゲノセクトという同名のポケモンは発見されてるんだろうと思う。だから、元ネタのポケモンもゲノセクトという名前でフォルムチェンジした姿が改造前のゲノセクトになる場合も考えられる。BW2の解析結果からゲノセクトに追加のフォルムチェンジは用意されてないのでゲノセクトの正体が明らかになるのは第6世代以降のゲームだろう。
